NEW YORK – The NewsGuild of New York, which represents the Times Tech Guild, and New York Times management have reached a tentative deal on a three-year contract, just over a month after the Tech Guild’s election week ULP strike.

Journalists at Bangor Daily News ratify first contract

BANGOR, Maine — After three days of voting, 89 percent of BDN Union members unanimously voted to accept the terms of their first two-year contract. The union’s Bargaining Committee reached a tentative agreement with Bangor Daily News Management on Oct. 2.

California journalists vote to approve contract with Alden Global Capital

Journalists across 11 Southern California newsrooms have voted to ratify a contract proposal after authorizing a strike.

NATIONAL —  The Southern California News Group Guild announced today its members have voted to approve their first contract, with 93% voting in favor of ratification. The agreement comes on the heels of the Guild’s strike authorization vote in September.
