The NewsGuild-CWA Executive Council adopted the following statement of support for IATSE, the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, on Oct. 15, 2021.
“We stand in support of our siblings of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees as they seek to negotiate a fair contract.
“NewsGuild members across the continent know that workers’ righteous demands are won when we stand together in solidarity. IATSE workers standing up to management and calling for decent wages, benefits and fair working conditions speak for all of us and we stand alongside them in their struggle.”
