Votes to be counted today for NY Times Tech Guild

Beginning at 9 a.m. today, Thursday, the National Labor Relations Board will count the ballots in the union vote by members of NY Times Tech Guild.

“We have made our voices heard and we eagerly await the results,” Tech Guild members said. “Follow along with our (union-made) vote count tracker site here.”

The Times Tech Guild will become the largest unit of tech workers with bargaining rights in the country and the biggest new unit of The NewsGuild-CWA in decades. And they are excited to forge a path for other tech workers to unionize. “Join us in the movement and organize with @CODE_CWA. We are stronger together,” they tweeted.
