Preliminary injunction now in effect in Southern California.

LOS ANGELES—On Wednesday, in a win for the freedoms of speech and press, a federal district court issued a preliminary injunction blocking the Department of Homeland Security (DHS)—which includes ICE and CBP—from brutalizing journalists, legal observers, and protesters.

Post-Gazette Lawyer Argues Against PG Reporting — and facts — in Bizarre 3rd Circuit Court Appearance

PHILADELPHIA – Lawyers representing the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette struggled to explain to a panel of judges why they should be exempt from federal labor law in two consecutive sets of oral arguments on Monday afternoon in the U.S. 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals.

DC Circuit Court overturns stay, orders restoration of funding to Radio Free Asia

Late last night, the full bench of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit lifted a stay that had blocked a preliminary injunction ordering the U.S. Agency for Global Media to distribute Congressionally mandated funds to grantees including Radio Free Asia, Radio Free Europe and others.
