Oct. 23, 2019 – The NewsGuild-CWA will sponsor a debate between the two candidates in the election for president at 6:30 p.m. EDT, Saturday, Oct. 26. Registration is open to all Guild members – those who are organizing as well as those in existing units.
Members are invited to send questions for the candidates in advance to CWA Past President Larry Cohen, who will moderate the debate. Questions can also be submitted through Zoom during the debate. Howard Stanger, a Labor Educator at Canisius College in Buffalo, NY, will assist the moderator with questions submitted.

A recording of the debate in its entirety will be posted on the Guild’s website soon after the debate ends.
A camera or microphone is not required to view the debate, although sufficient bandwidth is necessary.
