ACLU MO United has been officially and voluntarily recognized as the union of staffers at the rights organization. “We have been recognized through a voluntary card check,” workers announced on March 8.
“We are glad that ACLU MO’s leadership agrees forming a union is the right move for our organization, and beyond excited to start collective bargaining and fully join the labor movement.”
The unit will be part of the United Media Guild Local 36047 of The NewsGuild-CWA where it joins the ACLU of Kansas United, which won union recognition in July 2020.
