Dec. 14, 2018 – It’s official! Employees at PCMag, Geek, Mashable and AskMen won voluntary union recognition from Ziff Davis management on Dec. 14, becoming the latest in a series of successful organizing campaigns.
In 2018, The NewsGuild-CWA has welcomed union members at more than 20 newly organized news outlets.
Nearly 90 percent of about 70 eligible members had signed on to the effort at the end of November. The staff of the publications will form the Ziff DavisCreators Guild, a unit of the NewsGuild of New York Local 3.
