Balloting Underway

The NewsGuild-CWA Sector Election and Referendum Committee reminds Guild members that balloting in the presidential election is underway and encourages them to participate.

Ballots may be cast by mail or in person, according to the selection made by each local.

Voting by Mail

NewsGuild-CWA members voting by mail should have received a ballot in the mail for the upcoming election, in an envelope from the American Arbitration Association that looks like this:

Ballots must be returned to the AAA post office box by the close of business December 9, 2019.

Voting In-Person

Members of locals conducting in-person balloting have received a notice of the balloting that details the dates, times and locations selected by their local. Details of the in-person voting can also be accessed on the Guild website here.

According to the Guild’s Election Rules, all in-person balloting must be conducted at some time between November 12-November 17, 2019.

Replacement Ballots

Members who do not receive a ballot in the mail or who are unable to vote in person may request a replacement ballot using the AAA replacement ballot phone line, 800-529-5218, or email address, UlerioS@adr.org.
