NewsGuild-CWA President Jon Schleuss was elected to the Executive Committee of the International Federation of Journalists on Thursday while attending the IFJ’s World Congress in Paris. Schleuss joined 22 other leaders at journalists’ trade unions around the world. Delegates also elected a new president from Peru, vice presidents from Palestine, Canada and Tunisia and a treasurer from Italy.
