Guild asks Spanish labor minister to stop intimidation of staff by EFE

NEW YORK – U.S employees of EFE, Spain’s public news agency, asked Spain’s Second Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Labor, Yolanda Díaz, to intervene to help stop what they say is abusive intimidation of staff after they protested a management decision to walk away from decade-old policy of promoting staff from within.

Democracy Works staffers approve first labor contract with News Media Guild

NEW YORK, Jan 24, 2025 – Workers at Democracy Works, a nonpartisan voter education organization, ratified their first labor contract with the News Media Guild, the union announced.
