Huffington Post Canada's Rachel Mendleson has won the inaugural labor reporting award presented by the Canadian Association of Journalists and the Canadian Media Guild/CWA Canada. Mendleson's piece, “Canada income inequality and the decline of unions,” describes how unionized workers turn "bad jobs into better jobs" that reduce the income gap.
